What is 100 Percent Giving?

100 Percent Giving creates a community of people committed to supporting each others' interests in making a difference in the world. It differentiates itself because the purpose of making the difference trumps out knowing exactly how and where that difference will be made.

100 Percent Giving's goal is to reach 1 million people annually who will pledge one-dollar-a-week with a $52 dollar donation through its 100percentgiving.org web site which designates that all throughput money is for IMPACT USE™ only. This will be accomplished by requiring a specific legal IMPACT USE™ agreement for any of the 100 Percent Giving disbursed funds.

100 Percent Giving can make this IMPACT USE™ guarantee because of its deliberately planned autonomous financial structure. Following a smart investment policy with the amassed throughput dollars and a substantial endowment, all of 100 Percent Giving's overhead expenses are covered allowing it to pass all donations through to its benefactors free of any administrative burdens.

This is where our idea gets interesting. In order to reach an audience large enough to make this idea feasible (1 million people), 100 Percent Giving is in the process of promoting a weekly reality genre TV show based upon “letting America decide” which profiled charity will receive one million dollars each week. The premise is that randomly selected participating donors are given the privilege to profile non-profit choices that meet specific governmental charitable giving requirements. Our initial vision is to profile five donor chosen charities per week, and then let the viewing audience vote to decide the winner, which is announced the following week. The determination of how this will be completed will be based upon the specific production details required for airing.

The 100 Percent Giving project is unprecedented. It is an attention-grabbing blend that marries the non-profit world of Charitable Giving with the for-profit world of Reality TV (with a hybrid mixture of TV's Who Wants to be a Millionaire and American Idol). Interestingly enough, charitable giving and charitable awareness become the stars of this show. It is an interesting twist to reality TV which typically centers on a participant's self promotion.
