Frequently Asked Questions
How can 100 Percent Giving possibly keep overhead costs out of every dollar I donate?
100 Percent Giving is specifically designed around providing its IMPACT USE™ guarantee. Our concept is based upon an initial endowment covering original overhead which is then supplemented it with interest gained through investing the accumulated throughput donations prior to disbursement. So with this pre-funded endowment requirement, no throughput money will be collected until the endowment is in place.
That leaves the question… How does 100 Percent Giving guarantee that the end charities won't use the money for overhead? That's easy; Recipients must sign a legal contract with each disbursement requiring the charity to agree to IMPACT USE™ only. Organizations signing the contract are required to provide an auditable trail as to how the monies are being used before disbursement. If an organization chooses not sign the IMPACT USE™ agreement, 100 Percent Giving will then approach another profiled organization.
What is the maximum amount I can donate?
Throughput Donations are limited to increments of $52, yet you may donate as many times as you would like. The minimum donation is $52, with no established maximum donation. Please feel free to donate as many multiples as you would like.
Donors wishing to pledge more that the minimum amount are encouraged to consider matching a donation to a number of members of their immediate family. For example, a family of four would be encouraged to donate four times $52 for a total pledge of $208.
If you are considering multiple donations please think about supporting the 100 Percent Giving Tax-Exempt Endowment, and assist 100 Percent Giving in meeting its goal of never affixing overhead costs to its throughput dollars.
No donations will be accepted until we have received our IRS non-profit 501(c)3 determination letter for charities, which means that we can accept contributions and offer donors a tax deduction for their gifts. For donors like you, this means your contributions are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.
Who do we expect to donate?
We are anticipating that our audience is wide ranging and will encompass many segments of the population. Examples of our foreseen prospective donors are college students, retirees and homemakers; i.e. people who have avoided giving to typical charitable organizations because they are not given a guarantee of IMPACT USE™.
Is 100 Percent Giving Registered with the Government as a 501(C)3 Non-Profit?
We are currently in the process of applying for tax exempt status under Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3). Since our 1023 application is still in progress, we do not have a determination letter or advance ruling. Once non-profit status is granted, we will then be accepting funds into the 100 Percent Giving Tax-Exempt Endowment that makes possible the ability of all throughput pledges to be processed without overhead.
